GAME Plan Progress

We are in the last two weeks of school in my county and I have a great sense of pride and accomplishment as a result of my class's performance with our Safari Montage Live lesson. With that being over, I promised myself I would work on my second goal: to address the diverse needs of all learners by using learner-centered strategies and providing equitable access to appropriate digital tools and resources.

This week, I began packing up my room and decided to snag the first two reading units and the first two math units to look at over the summer. With these learning guides, I will reflect upon each lesson I taught during these units and come up with at least one way to integrate technology in both subjects once per week. With the year coming to a close, I will finally have enough time to think beyond my set curriculum during the summer to really get the ball rolling with my second goal.

  1. Brooke,
I have also brought home my units to review the lessons I have taught. I am sure that with the extra time over the summer and through the use of the internet you can find some creative ways to implement technology into your lessons. Good luck to you and enjoy your summer.

  2. Brooke,

I have also brought my progression to a hault. I plan to spend a great deal of time over the summer preparing for the new lessons that will be incorporating next fall. Time is at a premium as I also have to get a football program ready for the fall as well. Good luck with your units and have a great summer.

  4. Mike,

I am also going to work on planning for the fall throughout the summer. I hope to improve the lessons that I taught this past school year by integrating various forms of technology. Have a great summer and good luck next season!

  5. Brooke,

I think integrating technology at least once per week in both subjects will dramatically increase the 21st century skills of your students. I'm glad to hear that your Safari Montage Live lesson went well. I am eager to look into this technology!
